The Natural Beauty of Geger Beach
Geger Beach Nusa Dua Bali is a name that not many people know.
Many people know this beach as the Nusa Dua beach but actually, Nusa Dua Beach
consists of two beaches, Mengiat and Geger beach. Geger beach is located in
Peminge Village, Sawangan, in southern Bali. It is a secluded place, far from
the busy streets and the location is still very natural. Not many people come
to this beach and the scenery is just very stunning. This beach is perfect for
you if you want to lay around enjoying the sun and the scenery without being
disturbed by too many people. This beach is also very clean. Since part of the
beach is managed by the nearby hotel, there will be some cleaning workers that
will keep the cleanliness of this beach.

Accessing the Beach
To get to Geger beach Nusa Dua Bali from Kuta, you will have to follow
the main road towards Nusa Dua. Just before you get to the welcoming gate of
Nusa Dua take a right turn at the four junctions. You need to follow the road
until you found Hotel Nikko and about 500 meters from the hotel you will find a
small bridge. Follow the road of the small bridge and shortly you will be able
to see the beauty of Geger beach welcoming you. Recently, the local government
has started to pay more attention to this beach. The road to this beach is
repaired and they try to put in a parking lot near this beach. However, this
beach is still secluded enough and its location being near a famous hotel also
gives its visitors some perks.

Activities Around the Beach
Aside from enjoying the view and the sun while
lazing around all day in Geger beach you can also hire local ships and sail out
to sail in the sea. You can also enjoy the underwater scenery while fishing on
a boat. Moreover, since part of the beach is managed by a nearby hotel, they
provide some camels you can hire to walk around the beach. You will not see any
local kiosk around this beach selling drinks and snacks like those in the more
famous beach in Nusa Dua so you will have to prepare your own lunch. Or, if you
do not want to bring any lunch you can go the nearby café by the hotel that
offers various drinks, snacks and food for the visitors of Geger beach Nusa Dua Bali.
