The Description of Buyan Lake

Buyan Lake is a lake located at the area of Desa Pancasari, Bali. This lake is one of the triplet lakes, which was formed in a big caldera. The other two lakes are Tamblingan Lake on the West and Beratan lake on the East. Buyan lake is right in the middle between of those two lakes. Among all of them, Buyan Lake is the largest one with its width for about 3,9km. Both Tamblingan and Buyan lakes are separated by a forest with length approximately one kilometers.

Place to Visit at Buyan Lake

Now that you have learned a brief description of the lake, it’s time to discuss Buyan Lake destinations. Actually, there is not many places to visit here. However, its beautiful green scenery will make your trips worthy. Moreover, we said “not much”, not “nothing”. So yeah, there’s still a few places you could visit. First of all, the star of this place is certainly the Buyan Lake itself. The water of the lake is so divine that it almost looks like a glass. However, you need to know that there will be no boats crossing the lake because the government wants to maintain its natural beauty. Nonetheless, you are still allowed to do fishing in this lake. The problem is you need to bring your own fishing rod since there is no tenancy for this facility. Besides fishing, if you love to sleep with stars on the night sky, you are able to build a tent for a camping here. Similar with the fishing rod, you need to bring your own tent. Oops, one more thing about the camping. You must bring a jacket and a couple of blankets with you because the weather will be so cold at night time. If you don’t want to sleep outside, there are several resorts you could pick to stay like Bukit Kembar Ecotourism, Care Resort Bali, or Hotel Pancasari. Second, besides the lake, you might want to have a look at the strawberry picking facility. In this place, there are many strawberries planted by the farmers that you can pluck by and for yourself. After plucking some of them, you can buy them directly with such a cheap prize. It’s even cheaper than the ones sold at the market.
