Three Popular Site of Bali Tulamben Diving: USAT Liberty Shipwreck, Tulamben Drop-Off, and Coral Garden.

The first site to visit is the USAT Liberty Shipwreck.  It is the most favorite site for minimum ten-year-children to dive. There, they can learn history of the USA army shipwreck, named USAT Liberty. When the World War II occurred, there was condition when the USA army and Japanese army had their fight in Lombok.

The USAT Liberty Shipwreck was torpedoed by the Japanese. And, it made the ship could not be functioned. Then, the USA army brought the USAT ship to Tulamben to be fixed. But for some reasons, the ship was only stranded there. And, after that incident, there was a big disaster came in 1963. Mount Agung erupted and flew its magma to the land around it. And the eruption made the USAT ship thrown to the sea for 3 to 29 meters under the water. And since then, the coral has lived and coated the ship until now. And, it becomes the house of many kinds of fish. The eruption of the Mount Agung did not only contribute to make the USAT Liberty Shipwreck becomes popular like now, but also it made another beautiful site in Tulamben that is the Tulamben Drop-Off.

The Tulamben Drop-Off has a steep wall of coral with crowd of marine life. There you can see the moment when the black sand fades way and you can find many groups of sea animals such octopuses, shrimps, lionfish, nudibranchs, flounders, and goby. Also, you can see beautiful white reef there.

The story of the drop-off wall made was back at the time when the Mount Agung erupted and flew some lava to the sea. The location of the drop-off wall is only fifteen minutes slow walk from the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, opposite the bay itself.

The third site to visit is Coral Garden. Here, you can see wonderful soft and hard coral alike, many kinds of reef fish and the most wanted tourists want to see is the blue-yellow ribbon moray eel’s home.

You can also find a superb spot to snorkel with your families or friends. If you like marine life, you will confirm to the world if this is the best marine life with rich heritage of fish species and other sea animals sets.

Bali Tulamben Diving has been claimed by many tourists that it is the most beautiful sea to dive. Besides the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, the other reason is because Bali Tulamben Diving is the place where the Pacific and Indianocean meet. If you want to go to Tulamben, you only need to drive or ride approximately 2,5 hours from Kuta. It is such a near marine heaven from the most visited Kuta, the most crowded place in Bali.
